• Recommendation to Consider and Resolve:

  THAT Council adopt City of West Kelowna Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0265.23, 2024.

  AND THAT Council adopt City of West Kelowna OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 0300.03, 2024.

• Recommendation to Consider and Resolve:

  THAT Council adopt City of West Kelowna Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0265.12, 2023.

8.5.1

BC Active Transportation Infrastructure Program – 2024/25 Application

• Recommendation to Consider and Resolve:

  THAT Council direct staff to proceed with the City of West Kelowna’s application to the BC Active Transportation Infrastructure Program, seeking maximum grant funding of up to $500,000 towards the construction of the Horizon Drive Active Transportation Corridor;

  AND THAT Council agree to provide the City of West Kelowna’s share of funding, in respect of and subject to 2025 Budget deliberations and approvals, and favorable public tendering outcomes;

  AND FURTHER THAT Council authorize the Mayor and/or the Corporate Officer to execute the contribution agreement between the City of West Kelowna and Government of BC, as required, for successful applications.

8.5.2

Rose Valley Reservoir – Source Water Improvements

• Recommendation to Consider and Resolve:

  THAT Council direct staff to amend the 2024 Budget to include an $2,500,000 (two million five hundred thousand dollars) for Rose Valley Reservoir - Source Water Improvements funded from Rose Valley Water Reserves;

  AND THAT Council direct staff to issue a $50 credit, to the 8,500 accounts of the Rose Valley Water System, at an estimated cost of $425,000, to be funded from the Rose Valley Water Reserves.
