CALL THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING TO ORDER
 

The Special Council meeting was called to order at 11:31 a.m.

It was acknowledged that this meeting was held on the traditional territory of the Syilx/Okanagan Peoples.

In accordance with the most recent Provincial Health Officer Order regarding gatherings and events, the public was not permitted to attend Council meetings in-person.

  • It was moved and seconded

    Resolution No.C073/21

    THAT the agenda be adopted as presented.

    CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

PROCEDURAL MOTION
 

  • It was moved and seconded

    Resolution No.C074/21

    THAT Council close the meeting in accordance with Section 90(1) of the Community Charter for:

    (c) labour relations or other employee relations; and

    THAT Council close the meeting in accordance with Section 90(2) of the Community Charter for:

    (b) the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government or both, or between a provincial government or the federal government or both and a third party.

The Special Council meeting adjourned at 1:29 p.m.
