CALL THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING TO ORDER
 

It is acknowledged that this meeting is being held on the traditional territory of the Syilx/Okanagan Peoples.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the orders of the Medical Health Officer and the Province of BC Ministerial Order No. M083 (Emergency Program Act), the Council meeting space is not open to the public.

  • THAT Council close the meeting in accordance with Section 90(1) of the Community Charter for:

    (c) labour relations or other employee relations;

    (g) litigation or potential litigation affecting the municipality; and,

    THAT Council close the meeting in accordance with Section 90(2) of the Community Charter for:

    (b) the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government or both, or between a provincial government or the federal government or both and a third party.
