Mr. Quiring provided Council with information on a revised design concept for the Gellatly Bay area.

    Resolution No.C378/19

    THAT Council authorize the issuance of a Development Variance Permit (DVP 19-14) for 3659 Apple Way Boulevard to vary Zoning Bylaw No. 0154, S. 10.8.5 (g) to reduce the front parcel line setback from the private access easement from 6.0 m to 5.0 m, in accordance with the attached Permit (Attachment 1).

    THAT Council direct staff to select pedestrian improvement projects based on Fig. 4. Update Priority List as part of the City of West Kelowna's Pedestrian Improvement Program.

    Resolution No.C380/19

    THAT the Council of the City of West Kelowna authorizes up to $365,000 be borrowed, under Section 175 of the Community Charter, from the Municipal Finance Authority, for the purpose of Turf Mowing Program Equipment Purchase ; and

    THAT the loan be repaid within 5 years, with no rights of renewal.

    Resolution No.C381/19

    THAT Council authorize the Mayor and Corporate Officer to execute an agreement to sell a (+/-) 60.8m2 portion of road area adjacent to 3859 Carrall Road for consolidation with 3859 Carrall Road, with the final agreement subject to Council approval, removal of the fence encroachment and adoption of a road closure bylaw; and

    THAT Council give first, second, and third reading to City of West Kelowna Road Closure and Disposition Bylaw No.0257, 2019; and

    THAT Council direct staff to advertise Council’s intention to close and sell the road closure area, as per Section 40 and 94 of the Community Charter.
