Regional District of Central Okanagan Highlights from the January 13, 2022 Regional Board Meeting (Item 5.1 under Mayor and Councillor's Reports)

Z 21-08, Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0154.110, 2021 (Third Reading and Adoption), 3595 Elliott Road (Item 8.2.1 under Development Services)

This application is before Council, following the Public Hearing for consideration of next steps.  Council may consider the options listed below in accordance with City's Post Public Hearing Procedure authorized under Resolution No. C195/21.  Should additional conditions or requirements be identified at the Public Hearing, it is recommended the application be postponed accordingly.

• Recommendation:

  1. Postpone Consideration

  THAT Council postpone consideration of Third Reading of City of West Kelowna Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0154.110, 2021.

  Should Council postpone consideration of the proposed amendment bylaws, further direction to staff on how to proceed is requested.

  
  2. Third Reading and Adopt

  THAT Council give Third Reading and Adopt City of West Kelowna Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0154.110, 2021.      

  
  3. Deny

  THAT Council rescind First and Second Readings of City of West Kelowna Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0154.110, 2021 and abandon the Bylaw; and

  THAT Council direct staff to close the file (Z 21-08).

  Should Council deny the proposed amendment bylaws, the application will be closed in accordance with the Development Applications Procedures Bylaw No. 0260. Council shall not reconsider an application of this nature for the property for a period of six months.
